Multidisciplinary Research Building 1 (MRB1) will provide wet and dry research laboratories, core laboratory support facilities, a vivarium, and space for faculty and academic support. A design competition was used to determine the “Best Value” selection of the Design Build Team.

Project was the first LEED Platinum building on the University campus. The budget was based on a LEED Silver, but through partnering and an innovation of the Design-Build Team, the project looks to achieve LEED Platinum.

Project completion: mid 2018.
